Fall Recruiting Success

Congratulations to all units on a successful fall Join Scout Night season!  Early results are positive.  Please remember to turn in any applications for new Scouts that you may have as soon as possible.  This is to help ensure that they are insured by the BSA and that their Boys’ Life subscription will begin promptly.  We would like to recognize the following packs for recruiting more new youth this year than they did last year:

P215, Pack 224, Pack 235, P250, P251, P253, P256, P265, P266, P284, P290, P291, P294, P297, P407, P410, P427, P444

Thank you and congrats to all!

Fall Camporee Roundup

Thank you to District Activities Chair Don Deibler and his team for putting on a GREAT fall camporee this past month!  More than 220 youth from all three districts participated in the games and activities at Richland Township Park.  The weather was perfect and the Scouts even did some community service projects for the park.  If you have any feedback about the event, please contact Activities Chair Don Deibler to share your thoughts.

Thank You!

clif

Just recently, District Commissioner Clif Shultz stepped down from his role as District Commissioner to begin his new role as Assistant Council Commissioner.  We would like to thank Clif for his service as Pathfinder District Commissioner.  For the past five years, Clif has served in this role.  Through his leadership, the District has increased the number of unit commissioners as well as soon growth in membership within the District.  None of this would have been possible without the efforts of Clif and his Commissioner staff.  Thank you very much Clif for your hard work and dedication to Scouting!

Welcome!

With Clif stepping down as District Commissioner, Dave Blythe has assumed the role of Pathfinder District Commissioner.  Dave has been a Unit Commissioner for the past three years after moving to our Council from the Gerald R. Ford Council in Grand Rapids.  We would like to thank Dave for stepping up and helping the Pathfinder District continue to lead the way.  Thank you Dave!
