There's plenty of things to do in the winter at Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation!

Many of our facilities are open year-round. All Cub Cabins, the Cub Scout Dining Hall, and three Boy Scout cabins are available for rental this winter for your Scouting unit or your family.

The Cub Scout administrative building is also available for day rentals for meetings and all facilites are heated and have hot and cold water. Bathroom facilities are availbable either in the units or nearby at a heated shower house.

When Are Cabins Available for Off-Season Camping?

Facilities and campsites at Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation are availiable for off-season rental from September 1st through May 31st. Camp is closed December 24th through January 1st; Thanksgiving day and the following Friday, Saturday, Sunday; and the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Easter.

The Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation has developed a program committee that meets regulary to develop and implement unique, quality programs for youth year-round at Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation. Some of the committees working to create new programs are:

C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience
Shooting Sports
Aquatics
Ecology/Conservation
